Labour Days

Our 1 day labour preparation class is an intensive course which includes the following topics:

Signs of labour
When to call the midwife or go to hospital
What is happening during labour
Pain relief options
Breathing and positions for labour
Caesarean birth
The role of the birth partner
Life with a newborn baby
Practical Parenting Skills

The day begins at 10.00 am and finishes at 4.00pm.

The cost of this course is £90 per couple and also includes the Berkshire Birth Guide to Labour, Birth and Early Parenting and all light refreshments throughout the day.

Please note lunch is not provided.
